anniversary of the encounter of two worlds.
Dopamine, the Mexican studio of Grupo Salinas, in collaboration with the Spanish ONZA Entertainment, has
that the series will start production in Mexico. Created in-house by Dopamine, the series’ showrunners will be the

aventuras del capitán Alatriste, 2013; Cuéntame cómo pasó, 2006-2017), under the baton of Dopamine’s Director

controversy. The series sets a very innovative unbiased structure of different perspectives, that will lead to
discussion and thought”, explained Fidela Navarro, Dopamine’s CEO. “And we do this with the biggest investment
in a Spanish-speaking series. We want to break the glass ceiling in benefit of the Latin American industry, in
order to prove that, with competitive budgets, we can use our talents successfully on the international stage,
under new business models”, stated Fidela Navarro.
The series is supported from its beginning with the special collaboration of the Spanish ONZA. According to
Sagardía, Onza Entertainment’s CEO, “Hernan Cortez is, undoubtedly, a character of great relevance. To tell his
story through a premium series from two perspectives, from Mexico and from Spain, is a wonderful challenge. In
